Security vulnerabilities have been identified by VUPEN Security on Google Chrome OS

Google recently announced the launch of Chromebook, the first cloud centric OS and a netbook computer concept built by Samsung and Acer with Atom N750 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB SSD for $400-$500, is a low end hardware but Google says, that should not be a problem with cloud which offers more storage space in the web. Google claims, Chrome OS does not need a virus protection installed. As the data are stored in the cloud, the users do not have to worry about losing the data. All they need to do is re-install the OS and access their data from web with prior authentication when the system crashes.
