Amazon compensates for its cloud outage

The social networking site Reddit and user generated question and answer site Quora working on Amazon infrastructure have had outages recently and the reddit visitors were disappointed with the message "reddit is down" and Quora with a note "experiencing an outage".

Amazon says it will compensate users hit by the recent outage of Amazon Web Services. The customers who have been receiving services from North Virginia centre will receive the compensation.
