Cisco will be announcing exciting new innovations around their data center network technologies on October 18th that focus on three aspects:

•Scalability. Cisco Unified Fabric will allow for unmatched architectural flexibility, with scalability for the data center network geared towards switch performance, fabric scale and geographic span.

•Security. New Virtual ASA reduces deployment time and costs while providing more visibility to virtual workloads and traffic. This will enable more sophisticated security for large scale virtualization and cloud computing models.

•Optimization. Cisco Network Operations Automation Service will further simplify management with innovative troubleshooting, diagnostics and operational tools to help improve IT efficiency and lower operating costs.

A week later, on October 25th, there will be a customer-focused broadcast event, “Evolutionary Fabric. Revolutionary Scale,” where you would be able to ask questions and get more information on the announcements.
